IDENTIFICATION
(Device name / Serial number)

Activ5 identifiers

The unique device name and serial number (s/n) of your Activ5 is printed on the outside of the original packaging of your device.

Device name

The device name is used to identify your Activ5 in Bluetooth lists. This name will always appear when you connect your Activ5 to a new app or device for the first time. The device name will not be erased even if you give your Activ5 a nickname in the linked apps, games consoles or devices.

Serial number

The serial number (s/n) is a standard identifier not required to set up or use the Activ5, but may be useful if you need help from the customer support department. If you discard the original Activ5 packaging, the serial number can also be found on the label inside the Activ5’s battery compartment.

Replacing the battery

The Activ5 is supplied with a standard AAA battery with a life of 6 to 12 months.

To replace the battery, you need a new AAA battery and a flathead screwdriver.

Hold the Activ5 (the logo should be away from you as you hold the device), insert the end of the screwdriver into the opening and turn it gently until you hear a click, the cover opens slightly.

ATTEMPTING TO OPEN THE ACTIV5 IN ANY OTHER WAY MAY DAMAGE THE COVER CLIPS.

USE, SAFETY, MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR

Use

The Activ5 is designed to measure compressive forces up to 90 kg (200 lb), by applying pressure to the grey outer surfaces of the Activ5, when placed between two parts of the body, such as the palms of the hands, or a part of the body and an object, such as your palm and a desk. Any pressure on or near the belt results in an inaccurate force measurement and may lead to physical injury.
